DAE DAY COFFEE
GUANGZHOU NO.01
The first Dae Day coffee store in Guangzhou—a modern, light-filled coffee flagship where beige stone, warm timber and gentle arches shape a calm daily ritual. From the glass-and-timber facade with its double-D mark to the double-height counter hall and the shaded outdoor terrace, ‘having a good day’ becomes a spatial experience.
Dae Day’s first Guangzhou store translates the brand’s easy optimism—‘have a dae day’—into architecture that feels calm, warm and unhurried. The street facade pairs a glass curtain wall with timber panels; its double-D mark and slim diagonal tie-rods give the corner a quiet, precise identity.
Inside, the space is composed of soft beige stone and pale wood. A gently arched counter anchors the coffee ritual, while a double-height hall with white arc columns and a mezzanine gallery lets daylight and movement flow between floors. Material details—rough stone bases beneath smooth tops, glowing brand lettering, marble floors that mirror the light—keep the story simple and tactile.
Outside, olive-green tables set on a timber deck extend the ritual into the open air, framed by planters and the brand’s gentle wordplay. The result is a neighbourhood coffee destination that feels less like a retail interior and more like a good day made spatial.
