Tingting Yu graduated from PRATT Institute in New York with a major in interior design. After years of practices, focusing on office, hospitality and retail projects in North America, Tingting start YSPractice Shanghai office in 2020. Through her design experience in many of the top tech and fin-tech projects, she has developed a methodology to create a flexible, responsive environment that can help increasing individual productivity and comfort. She believes that the future office environment is no longer a simple combination of designed lights, materials and forms in a physical space, but is given a subjective narrative that adapts to the behavior, needs and emotions of the user. In her design practice over the years, her projects have won ID magazine's annual awards, and were featured in the Wall Street Journal.
